Yes, I always use a contract before starting a project. It provides all of the necessary information pertaining to the project so that you and myself are both on the same page. A signature is required before starting the project as well as the 50% nonrefundable deposit.

I require any images and website copy before I start designing your website. You must own the rights to any images that you are using as well as making sure that your copy is unique and original to you. I will help source images through free stock photography websites if needed. This applies to marketing collateral images as well. Images and copy should be provided.

For all drafts, I include my watermark for copyright purposes. Once the project is approved and final payment has been made, the final files are sent to you without the watermark.

Upon final receipt of payment, rights are transferred to the client. However, I reserve the right to display any work on my website, any social media outlet, or any marketing collateral.

I make sure to provide my clients with all of the appropriate and necessary files specific to the project. For logo and branding projects I send .jpg, .png, .pdf, and .eps files. Upon project completion, all project files are delivered electronically.
